Northumberland based Secondary school requires a Food Technology teacher.
This will be a full time post teaching Food Technology and Nutrition to students in KS3 and GCSE to start immediately. The post is until the end of the academic year.
You will need to full endorse the schools ethos and values, have excellent subject knowledge and be prepared to undertake any additional CDP or training courses planned by the school in order to achieve excellent teaching standards throughout the school.
As a teacher of Food Technology you will need to have the ability to inspire students and have a clear passion for your subject and for your profession.
Key features for the successful Food Technology teacher;
• Full time position from October half term
• Teaching in a supportive Technology department
• Excellent career progression and professional development opportunities
The school is situated in a scenic area of Northumberland close to the A1. You will need to be available for interviews and trial days planned by the school in this final term. As a requirement you must have QTS or NQTS, suitable teaching references and a fully enhanced DBS.
