Food Technology Teacher Job

Due to maternity leave, a well regarded secondary school in Hertfordshire require a Food Technology teacher to join them on a full time basis. This is a full time role and extra responsibilities (TLR) will be considered for the right candidate. All technology teachers are welcome to apply; any specialism considered and newly qualified teachers with full support from a dedicated mentor during your time covering the maternity.

Situated in the centre of Hertfordshire, this is a larger than average secondary school serving a diverse community. The successful Food tech teacher applying will be joining a 'Good' school with students who are eager to learn, display excellent behaviour and make progress above the national averages. .

  • Food Tech teacher, full time maternity cover from February half term
  • Supportive secondary school with a most recent Good Ofsted report
  • Initial supply position with opportunity to secure school contract
  • Pay rate to match experience - up to £145 per day
  • Immediate interview and meet with Technology department

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
