Teaching Personnel is recruiting Supply Teachers across Durham and Sunderland for a September 2026 start.

What the role involves:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 to KS4
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively across a variety of school settings
• Keeping students engaged and on task in a teacher's absence
• Following individual school procedures and providing brief handover feedback
• Adapting confidently to different schools and year groups

To be considered:

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Confident classroom management skills
• Flexibility to work across different schools when required
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
