During KS3, the girls will engage in a range of sports, including netball, gymnastics, swimming, trampolining, volleyball and badminton. Through participation in these sports, your role as PE teacher will be to develop the girls’ ability to utilise a range of tactics and strategies to overcome opponents in direct competition, enhance particular techniques and analyse their performance to identify areas for improvement.

At KS4, the GCSE curriculum covers three main areas of: practical performance, personal exercise plan and application of theory to practice. Within those areas, the girls will study topics including movement analysis, sport psychology and anatomy & physiology, in a mix of both practical and classroom based lessons.
