Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Hayes, West London

Role: Autism Specialist Teaching assistant

Duration: Full time and part time roles available

Pay: £70 to £95 (paid on a weekly basis)

 

Are you an Autism Specialist or have experience working 1:1 with autistic children?

The successful Autism Specialist will help children flourish from having 1:1 sessions alongside of a hard-working, understanding, friendly member of staff working by their side.

 

This school believes that every child can be supported to develop a good level of self-motivation through the provision of strong education – helping the children become naturally confident, engaged, enthusiastic and organised. They have a strong focus on spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development which can all be seen during lessons, during play and across the wider curriculum.

 

Main Duties:

- Supporting children with various needs

- Ensuring the highest level and safeguarding are being met at all times

- Working on a 1:1 basis 

- Personal care may be required

 

Essential Criteria:

- Have a child workforce only DBS on the Update Service

- Have the right to work in the UK

- Must have previous SEN experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
