Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for recent Psychology or Social Sciences Graduates to join one of our client schools in Stockport as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

This position will start in September, and it will be a full-time position.

The salary for this position will be in between £385 and £450 per week.

In order to be successful for this position you must be able to:

  • Apply for a fully enhanced DBS check.
  • Provide two or more employment-based references that cover the last two years of your work history.
  • Complete an online safeguarding course.

This school is located in Stockport, it is easy to commute to from the surrounding areas by public transport or by car. This school currently has an OFSTED rating of 1 meaning that it is an ‘Outstanding’ education provider. This school has a large proportion of pupils who require additional SEN support, meaning that this position will be highly important.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for working in small groups of pupils who have special educational needs. You will be supporting pupils who have conditions such as autism and ADHD. You should be able to assess the progress of the pupils as well as build relationships with them so that you can support them emotionally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
