Family Support Worker

Job description

We are currently supporting a fantastic school in their search for a dedicated Family Support Worker.

As a Famity Support Worker you will be there to assist the Family Support Manager to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs within the school environment. The children you will be working with can be challenging however extremely rewarding, so it would be beneficial if you had some experience within this environment. You will be required to work with children on a 1:1 and small group basis, reporting back and working with the Family Support Manager.

The ideal applicants will be organised, flexible and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience in an education setting is beneficial but not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
