Contract Type - Short Term Sickness

Hours: 6 hours per day - Monday to Friday

Accrington Primary School Require an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start immediately

The successful applicant must have experience working and assessing in an EYFS setting and comfortable working as part of a team. Candidates must be fully Level 3 Qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. We are also able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Educational Professionals that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.

The school is well known in the area and would look excellent on your CV. The Head Teacher has expressed that she is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant who has the ability to support the Early Years Framework and encourage positive learning.

The Practitioner must be dedicated and passionate, who has a nurturing personality and who will help the class make positive attainment. The School has a mixed catchment and the successful applicant must have fantastic behaviour management. The position is to start immediately and is to run for 6 weeks then potentially until the end of the summer term.

You will need to acquire;

  • Experience in EYFS
  • Available for full time work
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the Early Years Sector
  • Level 3 qualified or above
  • Core Subject Knowledge of Maths and English
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Experience of delivering Phonics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
