Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School in BLACKBURN BB2 who require a Teaching Assistant to work on a part time basis in the Reception class. The school is well known in the area and would look excellent on your CV. The Head teacher has expressed that she is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant who has the ability to support Reading and Writing activities and would feel confident delivering 1:1 support. This school are looking to appoint an appropriate candidate based on a successful trial period starting either immediately or in January. The Curriculum in the Reception is carefully structured, planned and organised into achievable stepping stones so children are given realistic learning objectives and enjoy their work!

Essential

  • Experience in EYFS or School environment
  • Available for part time work
  • Enthusiastic and have the ability to go that 'extra mile' for the school and year group
  • Level 3 qualified or above

Preferable

  • Core Subject Knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Experience of delivering Phonics.
