EYFS Teaching Assistant - SEN Support - A Blackburn Primary School

Do you have experience supporting children with SEN?

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a 'GOOD' Primary School in located in Blackburn to assist with a gap in staffing. The school is looking for an experienced EYFS teaching assistant. You must have a good understanding of the full EYFS National Curriculum. You would be expected to work alongside the class teacher and carry out general duties such as preparing resources. There is already one teaching assistant who works with small groups and you would be specifically be supporting a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis. The child you would be working with has global delay and requires a significant amount of guidance.

The class is made up of 32 pupils and the majority of children are expected to achieve GLD at the end of the academic year. The outdoor area has recently been renovated with new resources and has a number of engaging areas for the children. The Head Teacher has said that they would like to meet suitable candidates and have them in school on a free trial basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
