EYFS Teaching Assistant Needed in Leyland PR25

Competitive Rates of Pay

Contract Type - Temp-Perm (dependant on successful probation)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only + INSETS

Leyland Primary School require an Early Years Practitioner to start ASAP

The successful applicant must have experience working with in an Early Years setting and feel confident working alongside an experienced Teacher. Candidates must be Level 3 qualified or above. We are also able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Educational Professionals that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.

This school works exclusively with Teaching Personnel, recently we have supplied the school with two members of staff all of which are enjoying their time in school. The Headteacher has noted "we are a welcoming one form entry Primary School, we work closely with the local community and have an experienced leadership team and look for enthusiastic staff! What I am looking for is somebody who understands the EYFS curriculum and will work well alongside our excellent EYFS Teacher."

This role is to begin as soon as possible due to a recent resignation. The class is made up of 27 pupils and the children are keen to learn with supportive parents. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
