Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience in the Mansfield area or nearby?
We have a variety of schools working in partnership with us, in the Mansfield, Shirebrook, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield areas. As the schools are have reopened, we are looking for Teaching Assistants who can support with any staffing requirements that may be needed.
This may include but is not limited to:
- Temporary 'pools' of staff being available to help cover wherever needed in school
- Local pools of staff to help cover short term sickness for 2 weeks or longer, if school staff have to self-isolate
- Pools of staff to work with key School Bubbles
- Longer term contracts to cover maternity, shielding staff or any other long term sickness reasons
- Permanent contracts (usually Temp to Perm)
The candidates we are looking for are not a one sized fits all approach; we are flexible to take on people from all walks of life and experiences, as long as you have a minimum of GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English, a clean DBS and the willingness to work flexibly in our very vast and varied school settings!
The types of candidates who are most successful in our key schools are:
- Teaching Assistants with experience supporting SEN pupils, in either SEN schools or mainstream SEN units
- Care workers or youth workers with experience supporting young people with mental health difficulties
- Nurses or care workers with experience supporting children, young people and/or adults with physical disabilities and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
- Anyone with personal or professional experience with Autism
- Anyone with a flexible attitude and a willingness to help students and school staff create the best possible learning environment
- A team player who is hard working, resilient, approachable and pro-active within any classroom setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
