Teaching Personnel is working closely with a C of E Primary School in Central Liverpool to assist with staffing changes after half term. The school is specifically looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant school. The Teaching Assistant is required to have a good working knowledge of 'Letters & Sounds' phonics scheme
A CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or degree in an education related subject such as Education Studies is required for this position as the school are looking for someone who can come into school and help deliver small group interventions across EYFS and Key Stage 1. The Teaching Assistant is required to have experience in a primary school or nursery within the last 12 months.
The school is rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, Behaviour is outstanding as pupils' attitudes to learning are impressive. Attainment is in line with national averages and improving at the end of Key Stage 1. By the end of Key Stage 2 attainment is generally in line with national averages. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the delivery of Read Write Inc. across Early Years and Key Stage 1, working inside the classroom and in small groups.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
