Join Our Team: Part-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant 

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young minds? Do you have a wealth of experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment? We are looking for an exceptional 1:1 Part-Time Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

Start date: March 2024

Location: Nelson (BB9)

Pay: £11.85 - £12.55 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

As a 1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of children with additional needs within the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing tailored support to meet the individual needs of children with SEN.

- Collaborating with the class teacher to implement and adapt lesson plans.

- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

- Monitoring and tracking the progress of the assigned student.

- Implementing strategies to promote independence and confidence.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

- Extensive SEN Knowledge: A deep understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to address them.

- EYFS Experience: Previous experience working within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting is highly desirable.

- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.

- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and certifications in education and support work are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
