A 'good' School with a strong Christian ethos in Barnet is looking to recruit a TA with an approach to education which is sympathetic to Christian beliefs and practices. You will be joining a happy, thriving school with an inclusive outlook who have recently been rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.

The Role

The school is seeking to appoint a TA to work 1:1 with a child with Autism. Previous SEN experience in a school based environment is mandatory for this role with an ability to demonstrate relevant professional qualifications such as a CACHE level 3 qualification. The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre ideally in a related field to Education such as a BA in Early Childhood Studies or Psychology. A patient, calm and engaging classroom manner would raise your application further.

The School

The school is located in Finchley in North London with excellent transport links but would suit someone who is local to Barnet North London. The school are now looking to build on its recent ‘good’ rating from Ofsted this coming academic year. The school has a clear ethos which promotes the formation of pupils who are grounded and well rounded in all aspects of life within a Christian setting. It is expected that the successful candidate will provide a challenging and engaging environment which supports this ethos as part of the school's on-going strategy to raise standards and attainment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
