Job description

Part Time Nursery Work

  • Work throughout a cluster of nurseries
  • Regular part time hours
  • Development within Early Years Education

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a cluster of Nurseries within the Southampton, West End and Totton area.

They are looking for dedicated team members with the following characteristics:

- Positive and encouraging personality,

- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum,

- Experience working with children,

- Enthusiasm for the early development of children.

The nurseries are looking for someone who is able to cover short term sickness, holiday cover and day to day needs for the summer term. They are able to offer a number of shifts throughout the day including mornings, afternoons and whole days. Additionally, they are flexible with what shifts they can offer you based on your availability.

It is required that applicants must have experience and/or qualifications in childcare and be willing to take on responsibilities within the nursery to ensure the smooth running throughout the day.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
