Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a class of 16 pupils aged 3 to 4, within a Nursery school in Kensington. The successful candidate will have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, and in particular working to progress children in the three prime areas; Speech Language and Communication; Physical Development; and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.

The school is ideally located in the heart if Kensington, conveniently close to a number of bus routes (52, 452, 23) and Underground stations including Latimer Road, Holland Park and Notting Hill Gate. The school has received an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating. The leadership and management is inspirational, the head teacher has very high expectations of the staff and children, which helps to drive improvement. Everyone is treated very fairly and equally which is what has built the school's very valued reputation. The environment is highly stimulating and provides a variety of rich motivating experiences for children to support all areas of their learning. To apply for this role, you must be qualified in at least one of the below;

• Nursery Nurse Qualification

• CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education;

• BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies

• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant;

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant;

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA);

Experience in the following areas is desirable;

• Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD);

• Speech and Language needs

• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD);

• Personal Care and hygiene
