A primary school in Burnley is looking to appoint a new teaching assistant to join their Early Years team from mid September 2020! The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (08:45 – 15:15). It is initially temporary; however, following a successful period of probation, the school are hoping to offer the appointed candidate a school contract. 

The Head Teacher is looking for a teaching assistant who can hit the ground running and make effective contributions to the team. Accordingly, knowledge and experience of the EYFS Framework is essential. In order to be considered for the role, you must hold minimum a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). In the role, you will be supporting small groups of children providing additional support/ leading intervention sessions focusing on the three prime areas - personal, social and emotional development; communication and language; and physical development. 

The Head Teacher aims to shortlist and interview by Wednesday 9th September 2020; however, with the current circumstances, it is possible this could change. The start date is Monday 21st September 2020.
