Job description

A client school in the Salisbury area of Wiltshire are seeking a teaching assistant to join their EYFS Team on a full time basis from September. This Roman Catholic Primary School requires a Teaching Assistant to work across their EYFS department assisting children in both Nursery and Reception. This two form entry primary school has a large, well resourced early year's provision and is looking for an energetic teaching assistant to assist with leading small group sessions and interventions where necessary.

This 'GOOD' primary school believes that 'every child has the potential to achieve their best' and is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will support the strong Catholic Ethos of the school. The head teacher prides herself on creating a 'happy and supportive' learning environment and strives for every child to reach their potential. This is a full time EYFS TA position and the school are looking to see potential candidates as soon as possible.

To be considered for the role you will:

  • Have experience supporting in the EYFS
  • Have experience working with children on a 1:1 basis
  • Be a positive and enthusiastic role model to children across the school

The role is to start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year. The opportunity for extension may be considered for the right person.
