We’re proud to be supporting a welcoming, inclusive primary school in North Tyneside, looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join their friendly team.

Your Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in shaping those all-important early experiences that spark curiosity and confidence. Working closely with the class teacher, you will:

  • Support children’s learning and wellbeing through engaging, play-based activities.

  • Help plan creative lessons that inspire imagination and growth.

  • Observe and celebrate each child’s progress, recognising their unique potential.

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who brings warmth, creativity, and a real passion for early years education. You’ll have:

  • Experience supporting children within an EYFS setting (school or nursery).

  • Excellent classroom management and a nurturing approach.

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (desirable).

  • A positive attitude and the drive to make every day meaningful.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
