Salary: £90–£100 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Doncaster. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in their earliest stages of education, helping them to develop a love of learning, independence, and key foundational skills.
The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and contributing to the social, emotional, and academic development of children aged 3–5. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework.

Working with small groups and individual pupils to encourage communication, creativity, and curiosity.

Assisting in the observation and assessment of children’s progress, contributing to their learning journeys.

Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional well-being.
-
Supporting children with additional needs to ensure they can fully access learning opportunities.

Creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrate a warm, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting young children.
- Have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.
- Be committed to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
