EYFS teaching assistant - Bury

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a Primary school based in the Bury (BL0) area, looking for a teaching assistant who has previous experience working in a nursery setting to come in and hit the ground running. This role will be starting as soon as possible and carry on until the end of the academic year.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Appropriate experience working with nursery/reception children (EYFS)
  • Knowledge of using 'Read write Inc' phonics
  • A fun and creative approach to learning
  • Experience working within large classrooms

This is an averaged sized primary school with a large nursery class. The Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant to work across both classes providing general support wherever necessary. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out observations so knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is essential.

The primary school was graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is situated in Bury (BL0) area can provide excellent facilities and a strong EYFS department to support the children's learning. The successful candidate will also have access to CPD training courses to develop their own learning.
