Hours of work: Full Time (Mon-Fri), 08:30am – 16:00pm

Location: Hillingdon, London

Salary: £120 - £150 per day

This Special Educational Needs school in Hounslow are currently sourcing an Occupational Therapist to join them full time ASAP. The successful Occupational Therapist will work to support young people aged 7 -11.

This is a full-time, permanent position and term-time only. This school will consider band 6 and band 7 Occupational Therapists only.

The role:

-      Managing a caseload of young people with focus on sensory motor development and developing functional skills

-      Working as part of a multidisciplinary team

-      Delivering therapy programmes to individuals and within small groups

-      Promoting positive behaviour and creating a nurturing environment

The ideal Occupational Therapist:

-       Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy

-       HCPC registered

-       Has experience of supporting young people with similar needs (unless newly qualified)

-       Has the right to work in the UK

-       Has a child only DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
