Early Years Teacher required for a small Catholic School based in Sunderland

  • Early Years position to start in November
  • Teaching a mixed Nursery and Reception class of 31 pupils
  • Competitive pay, paid weekly

I am seeking a Fully Qualified Teacher on behalf of a lovely, 'Good' performing Primary School to Teach the Early Years Class. The class consists of 31 pupils, mixed Nursery and Reception. As it is a small school, they are looking for someone with experience working within Early Years and also someone who has the ability to assist the team in moving the school forward and achieving good results.

The School is a warm and welcoming environment, if you have experience of teaching Early Years and are comfortable with carrying out Home Visits, we would like to hear from you. Candidates must be adaptable and pro-active to fit into the school ethos and environment, you will be responsible to prepare lessons, observations on pupils and also planning for interventions required. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Child Protection in Education, Prevent Duty, an accredited Holistic Approach to Behaviour Management, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
