Experienced EYFS Teacher is required for a Reception class at a Church of England school in Heywood (OL10)
This school is smaller than the average-sized primary school with the Early Years Foundation Stage comprises of one Reception class. The school runs an on-site breakfast club for pupils. Almost all pupils are White British and speak English as their home language with the proportion of pupils for whom the school receives the pupil premium is above the national average. The proportion of disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs supported through school action is below average. The school meets the government's current floor standards, which are the minimum expectations for pupils' attainment and progress
This delightful school in Heywood (OL10) are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years teacher. You will be part of a supportive and hard working team of staff that have the success of their children at the forefront of everything they do.
The position is within Reception to start Easter 2018 however there is flexibility for the right teacher.
The school are looking for a reception teacher who is:-
- Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards and has high expectations of behaviour and raising pupil potential and achievement
- An outstanding classroom practitioner
- Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context
- Enthusiastic about working with other adults to move the school forward
Candidates must be familiar with the new EYFS Curriculum, have a genuine passion for working with young children and understand the importance of early years learning. An understanding of continuous provision, outdoor provision and knowledge of phonics schemes would be beneficial. Experience of subject specialisms and/or experience of co-ordinator roles would also be advantageous.
