Are you an FQT/NQT looking for flexible teaching work in the London Borough of Greenwich?

Are you looking for full time or part time supply work and would like the opportunity to work within a number of good or outstanding Roman Catholic primary schools?

Teaching Personnel are currently the preferred supply agency to schools within the Southwark Diocese. Due to an increase in cover requirements throughout the year, a number of our catholic primary schools found within the Greenwich Local Authorities wish to expand their pool of supply teachers moving into the new academic term.

Whether you are a newly qualified or experienced teacher looking to network in a number of new schools as a supply teacher, we are able to provide you with regular daily work. Working on a supply basis will give you the opportunity to step away from planning and other permanent teaching commitments but in return we ask that you follow the schemes of work and planning accurately and professionally. Although planning is already in place for the role the marking will have to be done at the end of play each day. We would also require that you are able available for work at short notice as we may call you for any local early morning work. We also have a number of pre-planned absences where we will be able to provide you with advanced notice of work allowing you plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.

Teacher requirements for this opportunity are:

  • A PGCE/QTS holder (11-16 or further education accepted)
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and being able to adapt to different schools behaviour policies
  • Have proven knowledge and experience of the UK National curriculum
  • Be Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Respect the catholic ethos
