EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant required for a Primary School in Accrington

  • Experience planning, delivering and assessing 'Letters & Sounds' Phonics across EYFS and KS1 is highly sought after.
  • Excellent classroom based references from within the last twelve months is desirable.
  • Opportunity to secure a long term/perm position within a Primary School in Accrington.

Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit a passionate teaching assistant, to work within a large Primary School Accrington. The position is to start in September 2019 and will be for the full academic year. The school has stated that there will be the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be working within the EYFS and Key Stage 1 classes during the week and would be required to provide 1:1 and small grouped Phonics booster session for EYFS and KS1 pupils. The children will be grouped based on ability and will be working within Phases 3-5. Experience working with the 'Letters & Sounds' Phonics scheme and delivering small group intervention is highly sough after for this role. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour.

Monday - EYFS

Tuesday - EYFS

Wednesday - Year 1

Thursday - Year 1

Friday - Year 2
