EYFS / KS1 Teacher - Full Time - Matlock - Sept 19

Teaching Personnel are recruiting an EYFS / KS1 Teacher for a full time position in Matlock starting in September 2019. This is a temporary position up until August 2020 with the potential to go permanent. This is a lovely little school to work for with friendly staff and brilliant children eager to learn. The school has a beautiful and vibrant surrounding and they have recently been graded 'GOOD' in their OFSTED rating - April 2018.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • In formulating the aims, objectives of EYFS and establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved
  • Be responsible for the standards, teaching, learning and curriculum of all pupils in EYFS including monitoring of progress towards achievement
  • Proactively lead and manage staff and resources
  • Carry out the professional duties of a class teacher
  • Take responsibility for child protection issues as appropriate
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the academy

To be considered for the role you must have a Qualified Teacher Status or degree in relevant subject or Post graduate experience relevant to the post. The ability to plan and deliver stimulating teaching experiences in line with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework including phonics. A sound understanding of Early Years child development. You must also have the right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
