Experienced Support Assistant required- Must have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (BB10)

- A Specialism in working with children with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis is crucial

- Solid Experience working in a School setting is required

-A Level 2 or above Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is a necessity

A school in Burnley have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a Teaching Assistant to work closely alongside a child Special Educational Needs. The role is to start after the February half term and the pupil is currently working much below 'Age Related Expectations'. He also struggles to connect and socialise with other children and will need to be encouraged to use different communication skills in order to build self confidence and create relationships.

The Head Teacher has stated that the general behaviour of the school is 'good' and the school has recently received 'Good' from Ofsted. Due to this she has said she would like to employ a Practitioner with a fantastic energy and positive attitude. She wants someone who is dedicated and vibrant practitioner with a clear passion for working with children.

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour day position held Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between £8.40-£10.50 per hour. Additional salary may increase depending on the interest of welfare.
