Experienced KS3 or KS4 Teacher required in Special Education

If you are an experienced SEN teacher with qualified teacher status (QTS) we want to hear from you!

We are seeking someone who has worked with children with special educational needs to work as a teacher who is dedicated to supporting children whose needs can be challenging.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Calm, patient and empathetic
  • Proactive, organise d and efficient
  • Competent in classroom practice and delivery to ensure the pupils are engaged
  • A team player and not afraid of getting 'stuck in'
  • Flexible in their approach and willing to undertake a variety of tasks
  • Restraint trained i.e. Team Teach (preferred but not essential)

At Teaching Personnel we work with various schools in Thames Valley and provide teachers on a daily, long term and permanent basis. Our current teachers work in various roles within SEN schools, pupil referral units and alternative provisions.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
