Experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant Needed in Leyland Primary School!

A proven track record of working with children across the KS2 Curriculum is advantageous

Are you a driven, enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge? Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a GOOD Primary School in Leyland in order to source and appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work closely with their Y3 teacher to support small groups of higher and lower attaining pupils in the class. Most children in the class are working at 'expected age related levels' there are two children in the class with Autism with another teaching assistant working on a 1:2 basis. The Headteacher is looking for a practitioner with excellent core subject knowledge who has experience supporting children with Maths and English.

The school is located close to the centre of Leyland with an experienced and committed Senior Leadership Team who work hard to maintain high standards. This role is to start on the 16th April until Summer depending on how the child engages with the support. This will be a five day a week position covering up to 33 hours. The rate of pay is competitive with other roles of this sort starting from £9 per hour!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
