Experienced KS2 Teacher required at a Primary School in Rawtenstall

A 'Good' school as graded by Ofsted, are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher who has good experience working in UKS2, to join their team part time. The role consists of working 3 full days Wednesday- Friday. The position is to Support and Teach the Year 5 Class as the current Teacher is looking to work part time after the February half term. The Practitioner is required to have an outstanding knowledge of the National curriculum and have confidence in delivering and planning good quality lessons. Due to the Class being mixed ability, the successful candidate must be able to differentiate efficiently and plan lessons according to the needs of the children. The Head Teacher has stated she wants the Practitioner to bring 'Colour and fun into the Classroom' and to 'Create solid relationships with the children'.

To apply you must hold;

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience working in a UKS2 class and have recent references to support your application
  • Have good availability in February and for the rest of the year in order to take up the role

The school is a small school but the Head Teacher commented that the behaviour and attainment of the pupils is 'great and just keeps getting better' and she is looking forward to bringing in a spirited and dedicated Teacher to join their 'motivating and skilled team'.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £100-£150 per day

Wednesday- Friday (6.5 Hour Days)
