Schools across the Manchester area are looking to join the support staff, with regards to helping out the school with it’s exam provision. It is expected that the applicant will be able to successfully:

  • Arrange examination papers, ensuring that those with SEN are catered for effectively based on their required needs.
  • Ensuring that all students are aware of the school’s examination policy,.
  • Be able to maintain control of the exam room, being able to emphasise the importance of students being orderly both inside and outside the examination hall.
  • Preparing the examination hall to ensure that the environment is suitable for all students.

As this role is a temporary role, it is important to consider that this opportunity will allow the applicant to gain important secondary school experience. Those who have experience in the following areas are urged to apply:

  • Those who have worked with young people within a youth/community setting.
  • Those who have worked with children in a mentoring/tutoring capacity.
  • Those who have worked with children within a sports coaching provision.

Additionally, we welcome applicants who are:

  • Graduates
  • Former teachers
  • Those looking for day to day work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
