Exam Invigilator / Cover Supervisor

Are you a confident individual looking for regular work within a secondary school?

Do you already have experience of working within a secondary school or with secondary aged students at a youth club or other setting?

A secondary school in the central Manchester area is looking for individuals who ae able to cover lessons as a cover supervisor (unqualified teacher) and provide invigilation during exam periods.

The successful individual should have some experience of working with secondary school aged students and be confident in their manner and approach.

Highlights of the Exam Invigilator role:

  • Pay: £8.50 per hour
  • Ensure students are staying on task during examinations
  • Walk around a sports hall and remain focussed and concentrated during examinations

Highlights of the Cover Supervisor role:

  • Cover lessons in a variety of subjects
  • Pay range between £50 - £70 per day
  • Gain invaluable experience working within a supportive secondary school
  • Delivery work which is pre set and planned, ensuring students are engaged with the work

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
