Tutor of English

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a part-time temporary English Tutor with a start date ASAP. This would be an excellent opportunity for anybody looking to gain experience at tutoring college students in a smaller group setting or anyone requiring a flexible and part time role to fit with a busy schedule. It is not essential to hold QTS with English for this role, however candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. It would be beneficial if the candidate had a relevant undergraduate degree in English or certainly a subject that would provide transferable skills. Experience of tutoring to secondary school age is essential, however experience with students of this age will be considered.

Highlights:

  • £20 - £25 per hour depending on experience
  • Flexible working days
  • Start date of as soon as possible
  • Contracted initially for 4 weeks with the possibility of extending further

Responsibilites:

  • Experience of tutoring to GCSE level with English
  • Confident within a classroom setting of 16–18-year old’s
  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
