English Teaching Assistant

  • Working with pupils in a small group and 1:1 basis
  • Competitive daily rates of pay up to £60 per day

Our client school in Tameside is looking to appoint a recent graduate in an English Teaching Assistant role.

Have you recently graduated with an English related degree?

Are you actively seeking school experience with a view of starting a career in teaching?

You will be working as a Teaching Assistant providing support to the English department. The school have identified English as an area that they wish to raise attainment in providing you with a great opportunity to make an impact, learn new skills and gate invaluable experience.

The position will be starting in January so applicants must be available for interview and full time work from September. This Academy school has taken significant steps in recent times to achieve targets both in raising pupil performance and make the school a great place for student to learn.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
