English teacher – Wandsworth

Teaching Personnel are working with Catholic schools around London, specifically in the Southwark Diocese since a Service Level Agreement was signed between the two parties, forming a recruitment partnership between.

One client school of Teaching Personnel, based in Wandsworth, are currently looking to hire an English teacher with experience teaching up to key stage 5. The successful teacher will have a UK recognised teaching qualification and a proven track record of raising attainment within the English department. Teachers applying for this position would not have to practice or even follow the Catholic faith; the Senior Leadership’s main priority is an English teacher with good subject knowledge who would add value to the schools curriculum.

  • English teacher capable of teaching up to key stage 5

  • Pay scale inline with the inner London MPS/UPS pay scale; GBP33,741 to 49,571 (M3 to U3)

  • Full time teaching position starting on the 4th of November for the remainder of the 2019/20 academic year, there may be an option to go permanent in July 2020 depending on experience and education

  • A Catholic Secondary school based in Wandsworth

 

The Wandsworth based Catholic school currently looking to hire in their English department has been consistently rates ‘good’ by Ofsted with specific mention to the excellent management of behaviour at the school. Teachers currently working in the English department have ensured it is one of the top performing subjects at the school, receiving the best grades of any subject in the school 4 out of the last 5 years.
