English Teacher

South Manchester

Due to a gap in the department, we are currently seeking an English NQT or an experienced English teacher to join our client school with immediate effect. This is a full time position running until the end of the academic year and would involve teaching English up to key stage 4.

*FULL TIME POSITION TEACHING ENGLISH TO KS3 AND KS4*

*PAID IN LINE WITH TEACHING SCALE POINT (UPS/MPS)*

*LARGE MODERN SECONDARY SCHOOL IN SOUTH MANCHESTER*

*INTRODUCTION INTO OFSTED 'GOOD' SCHOOL WITH THE POTENTIAL TO CONTINUE ON TO A SCHOOL CONTRACT FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE*

Duties include:

  • Preparing relevant resources for lessons, dependent on their key stage and ability
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, encouraging pupils to reach their full potential
  • Evaluating performance of pupils and implementing personal development plans to raise attainment
  • Collaborate with the department, pupils and parents to monitor and support progress
  • Full marking of classwork and homework
