English Teacher

A lovely SEN school based in South Bromley, is looking to recruit a Fully Qualified English teacher, who is able to teach children with autism – this will be on a full time basis, starting Monday 6^th January 2020 (6^th and 7^th January are INSET days which you will be invited to attend).

• GBP120 - GBP150 per day, dependent on experience
• This is a special school for children with autism
• Your timetable will include key stage 3 national curriculum, key stage 4 GCSE and key stage 5 GCSE re-sit – you will have 6 PPA sessions per week on your timetable
• Experience of working with children who have autism is essential – most students are high functioning and can communicate verbally, but have social and communication difficulties
• Official working times for staff are 08:30am – 16:00pm, however the students are in school for the hours 08:45am – 15:05pm
• You will need to have a child workforce DBS registered to the update service, or alternatively be willing to apply for a new one as soon as possible
