The Headteacher at a large Roman Catholic Secondary School is seeking to recruit an English Teacher on a full time basis from September 2019.

  • Full time English teacher required from September 2019.
  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant degree level qualification within English to be considered.
  • Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers as all relevant support will be provided.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

Due to an upcoming gap within the English department, the Head teacher and Senior Leadership of our partner RC Secondary School located at the heart of Eccles, Salford, wish to appoint a dynamic English Teacher who has a track record of increasing pupil attainment. This English teacher position is required to start from September 2019.

English is one of the highest achieving subject areas at Key stages 3 and at GCSE, as pupils are continually achieving well above targets. The incoming English teacher will be expected to instil a passion and appreciation for the English subject providing each individual pupil with the best learning opportunities. You can also expect to join a vibrant school community and friendly staff team led by a proactive senior team.

Our partner school has just over 700 pupils on roll aged 11-16 and is renowned within the local area. Located in Salford this RC faith school is ideally situated to be accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road), as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also excellent public transport links readily available.
