Our partner secondary school are working alongside Teaching Personnel to source an English Teacher for their Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' secondary school from Easter 2019 or sooner if appropriate. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your career within a great department featuring enthusiastic and dedicated members of staff.

  • Full time Teacher of English post until at least July in the first instance
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Teaching English to both KS3 and KS4

Our client school is a large academy located in Rochdale. The school moved to a new build in 2011, and so feature great, modern facilities. The school has great transport links, is easily reachable by public transport and is situated close to the M62 motorway. The latest Ofsted report of our client school commented on the high standards and expectations of the students, and the impact of teaching on pupils' progress. Our client school has a positive Progress 8 score, and features a very high pass rate of English GCSEs.

Applicants should hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications within the UK, as well as experience teaching both English Language and Literature up to GCSE level.
