Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for a high quality Teacher of English Literature and language to join a ambitious and prosperous school from September. The school is situated in the Brighton area and is very close to highly accessible rail & bus transport links.

We are looking for a teacher who has a passion to raise ambitions for all students over varying age ranges and someone who is committed to conducting the highest standards of teaching. The candidate will demonstrate vision and passion, joining a dedicated team of English teachers in a successful English department.

All candidates must hold a current DBS which must be registered to the update service. Prospective teachers need to provide 2 recent references and be available for interview within the coming weeks.

The school would consider either a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced English teacher. The main aim of employment is to find someone that shares the vision for delivering the highest standards of education to the pupils and someone who can maintain the levels of achievement that have been reached by the English department.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
