Looking for a fresh start in your teaching career?

Teaching Personnel are working with a oversubscribed school on the outskirts of Southampton who are looking to appoint a English teacher on a temporary contract from February 2019 until July 2019. This role would be a part time role teaching English Literature and Language for 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ideally). Main responsibilities of this role will be teaching KS3 students with some additional KS4. Experience in teaching Drama would be desirable however not essential.

We welcome applicants who:

  • Have gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Can confidently plan and delegate a daily routine for support staff within the classroom;
  • Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners;
  • Seek a long term position teaching a full timetable with the relevant time set aside for Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA).
