English Teacher needed for Tameside Secondary School

Are you an English teacher looking for a full time English teaching position in Tameside?

Teaching Personnel works closely with this academy school and they are currently looking for an English teacher to add to their department after Easter. This will be a full time post continuing to the end of the academic year.

You will be teaching across KS3 and KS4 so previous experience of this is beneficial. The school has been graded "Good" by Ofsted in its latest report and is always looking to improve across all areas of the school.

With GCSEs upcoming you will work alongside the Head of department ensuring that students are well prepared and given all the support they require.

You will need to be a fully qualified or newly qualified teacher of English and have suitable teaching references for this post.

Located in the Stalybridge area of Tameside the school has regular bus routes and is located within minutes of a train station.

Requirements of this role:

  • Prior experience teaching English up to KS4 and assisting GCSE cohorts
  • Proven track record of raising pupil attainment through intervention
  • A fully enhanced DBS and suitable teaching references
