Secondary school looking to appoint a permanent English teacher for an immediate or September start date - MitchamMitcham (£130 - 150 a day)

MitchamMitcham based school seeking an English teacher to work on a year contract as minimum on a full-time basis

Interviews to be held from late May 2019

Teachers and Newly Qualified teachers must have relevant teaching qualifications and experience leading and planning lessons.

About the role

A secondary PRUPRU for pupils with SEMHSEMH in South London are looking to hire an experienced English teacher on a temporary to permanent basis required as soon as possible.

Teachers will require experience teaching English either in primary or secondary education and will need teaching qualifications such as QTSQTS, NQTNQT or PGCEPGCE.

This specific role is a full-time position 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

All applicants are expected to differentiate, plan, deliver lessons for children with autism alongside record and access development. Training will be provided but openness to development and learning is essential.

The school belongs to a partnership of Merton'sMerton's specialist education support schools, collectively known as MelburyMelbury College.

Potential teachers must be confident planning and leading classes, be a great communicator and have an energetic, resilient personality.

OfstedOfsted have rated the school as 'Good" and have a cohesive and supportive leadership team.

"Pupils say that they feel happy and are well supported by staff. Pupils talk about their future career aspirations and have a clear idea of how to reach their goals. Pupils behave well overall and any issues are dealt with effectively and promptly. The behaviour for learning in lessons we visited was strong".

Location

The school is accessible to MordenMorden station (Northern Line) and MitchamMitcham Tram station.

The school also has parking onsiteonsite.

Requirements

UK recognised teaching qualifications such as PGCEPGCE, QTSQTS, NQTNQT qualifications

Teachers will be required to plan, deliver lessons for Secondary aged pupils

Available full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:00pm
