English Teacher - Manchester

Job description

A pupil referral unit in Manchester require an English teacher on a full time long term basis as soon as possible, to be considered for this you will need to be/have;

  • Full time availability (Mon-Fri)
  • Experience teaching up to KS4 and GCSE English
  • Classroom presence and excellent behaviour management to work in a pupil referral unit
  • Commitment to a full time position which will include before and after school meetings and any training

The school caters for pupils within Key Stage 4. The right candidate will be responsible to teach small groups and support will be available, in the form of a Teaching Assistant.

All young people at these schools either have a EHCP or a SEN statement. They have requested that the candidate has the Team Teach qualification, however if you do not posses this qualification Teaching Personnel do run Team Teach Training.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
