Are you a passionate teacher of English who is committed to transforming the lives of students?

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of English to join our client school in South Manchester. Due to a gap in the department, we are looking for a teacher who is available on a full time basis from April through to the end of the academic year. (July 2019)

  • Salary to match MPS/UPS (£23,702 - £39,406)
  • Full time, temporary role, term time only
  • April (or earlier if possible) - July in the first instance
  • Vibrant learning environment in South Manchester

The successful English teacher will plan well-structured and varied lessons meeting the learning needs of all students. They will be able develop relationships with students in a professional and caring manor and work effectively to enable students are confident in their learning. We are looking for a teacher displays effective behaviour management skills and will be act as a positive role models for students throughout the school.

Our client school is a vibrant secondary school with just over 900 pupils on roll. The school is based in South Manchester and serves a diverse community with students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. The school is easily accessible via public transport and Metrolinks but is located just a short drive from the city centre.

Our client school has a high percentage of students who have been eligible for free school meals in the past 6 years and pupils whose first language is not English. Despite this, our client school has been nationally and locally recognised for its continuous improvement. The school has excellent facilities throughout and is a welcoming and vibrant learning community. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teacher that will join our client school on their journey towards excellence.
