Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary Special Needs School in Nottingham. The school caters for students aged 11-16 who have Moderate Learning Difficulties and Autism.

This wonderful school requires an English Teacher to start ASAP for a temporary placement until mid March. The School believes they can change the 'I cant's' to 'I can'. Their ofsted rating included;

  • Effectiveness of leadership and management -Outstanding
  • Quality of teaching, learning and assessment- Good
  • Personal development, behaviour and welfare -Outstanding
  • Outcomes for pupils - Good
  • 16 to 19 study programmes- Good

You would need to have previous experience working with and supporting students with Special Educational Needs, preferably within a Special Educational Needs School.

Candidates who qualify this role will have;

  • QTS
  • Bachelors Degree
  • English as a Specialism
  • Valid DBS on the update service
  • Teaching Experience of at least one year
  • SEND experience
  • The ability to engage and inspire students
  • Understand the need for differentiation
  • An empathetic nature
  • Be free full time until Mid March
