Job description

Currently recruiting for a Fully Qualified English Teacher to work in an SEN School in Guildford.

A new exciting career opportunity open to both mainstream and SEN Teachers who have previous experience of working with Primary and Secondary. The school are looking for a Teacher to work with both primary and secondary student with a total of up to 5 pupils per class. Although the school caters for a wide range of students this class in particular is for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties.

Grafham Grange School is an academy for boys. The school caters for students who have statements of special educational needs and/or Education, Health and Care plans with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) as their primary identified need, though the majority of students have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum conditions, speech, language and communication difficulties, ADHD, opposition defiance, medical conditions and attachment disorders.

It will involve working on a 1:1 basis and general classroom support with children who have Special Educational Needs therefore, we need candidates who have specific experience of providing 1:1 support for SEN pupils - promoting their overall development.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
