English Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in conjunction with a 'Good' Academy in West Cornwall to recruit a Teacher of English.

This role is full time for a minimum of 1 term, teaching KS 3 and 4.

The school are looking for a confident and positive teacher who can embrace a collaborative approach in a community centred school.

You will have experience of teaching English in line with the National Curriculum and be able to complete all planning, marking and assessment for your own classes. You will be a positive and creative educator with a real passion for your subject.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your successes in raising attainment and progress; and your ability to implement change to your lesson plans to cater for all learners.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
